There is a difference between saying what you think and inviting someone else to think with you.
An opinion says:
“Here is my answer.”
A question says:
"What do you think?"
That small difference can completely change a conversation.
Questions create space
When you make a statement, people can agree or disagree.
When you ask a thoughtful question, you give them room to explain.
Consider the difference:
“Working from home is better.”
versus:
“What has been better for you: working from home or working from an office?”
The second question gives people somewhere to go.
