1. Introduction
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of SsshhhOut ("SsshhhOut", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the SsshhhOut mobile application, our websites, and any related services, features, content, software, and functionality we provide (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, whether through Guest Mode or a registered account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms or our Privacy, you must not access or use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including Guest Mode users, registered members, and anyone who accesses or interacts with the Service.
If additional terms apply to a specific feature or service, we will make those terms available to you when you use that feature. Those additional terms form part of these Terms where applicable.
2. About SsshhhOut
SsshhhOut is a community where you can express your thoughts freely while helping keep your identity private from other members. You can start conversations, ask questions, create polls, join groups, and connect with other members without the pressure of revealing your identity.
SsshhhOut is designed to encourage open conversations while promoting respectful behaviour, community safety, and responsible participation. The Service includes moderation tools, reporting systems, safety features, and enforcement measures intended to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all members.
Although SsshhhOut is designed to help protect your identity and personal information from other members, no online service can guarantee complete privacy, security, or uninterrupted availability. You remain responsible for the information you choose to share with others and for your interactions with other members.
Your use of the Service is subject to these Terms, including the Community Guidelines and Safety Tips set out in these Terms.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal data when you use the Service.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
3.1 Eligibility
To use SsshhhOut, you must be at least 18 years old, or the higher minimum age required by the laws of your country or region of residence. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you satisfy these eligibility requirements.
You confirm your eligibility through an age declaration during Guest Mode setup or account registration. We do not verify age with government identity documents in the ordinary signup flow, but we may take additional steps where we reasonably believe you do not meet the applicable minimum age.
3.2 Guest Mode and Registered Accounts
SsshhhOut offers two primary ways to access the Service:
Guest Mode lets you use certain parts of the Service without signing in with a mobile phone number or completing full profile setup. Guest Mode is tied to your device and is not the same as a registered account linked to your mobile number.
A registered account requires you to sign in with a valid mobile phone number, complete SMS verification using a one-time password (OTP), and complete any profile setup required by the Service.
Guest Mode provides limited access to the Service. Certain features are available only to registered accounts.
Certain features, including posting, replying, chatting, creating and joining groups, blocking users, and other signed-in features, require a registered account verified with a mobile phone number.
You may switch from Guest Mode to a registered account at any time by signing in with your mobile number. Depending on how you sign in, your existing guest record on that device may be linked or replaced as part of account creation or login.
3.3 Account Registration and Mobile Verification
To create or access a registered account, you must:
- provide a valid mobile phone number that you own or are authorised to use, and that you can use to receive SMS messages;
- complete verification using a one-time password (OTP) sent to that number by SMS (or another method we make available);
- accept our Terms and Privacy; and
- provide any other information reasonably required to create or maintain your account.
Your mobile phone number is used for account verification, authentication, and security. We do not display your mobile phone number to other members on your public profile, posts, groups, or other community content in the ordinary course of the Service.
You must not share OTP or verification codes, authentication credentials, or account access with anyone. Anyone who obtains a verification code for a number may be able to register or link that number to an account. You are responsible for keeping verification codes confidential.
We may limit, refuse, or delay registration where we reasonably believe a number is fraudulent, abusive, already linked to another account in violation of these Terms, blocked due to prior account deletion history, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms or applicable law.
Where we reasonably believe that a mobile phone number has been repeatedly associated with account creation and deletion, or has otherwise been used in a manner intended to abuse or circumvent the Service, we may block that number from registering or accessing new accounts in accordance with these Terms, our policies, and applicable law.
3.4 Account Security and Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, your device, and any verification credentials associated with your account. You must not share verification codes, account access, or otherwise allow another person to use your account without permission.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device and for activity that occurs through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise. If you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation, you should notify us as soon as reasonably possible.
You agree to provide accurate information where required and to keep your account information reasonably up to date.
You must not create or use accounts for another person without their permission, create multiple accounts to evade restrictions, or use another person's mobile number without authority.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.
3.5 Refusal, Suspension, and Termination of Access
We may refuse registration, suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service where permitted under these Terms, including where we reasonably believe that:
- you do not meet the eligibility requirements;
- you have provided false, misleading, or inaccurate information;
- your account or device has been used in violation of these Terms;
- your use of the Service poses a risk to the safety, security, integrity, or operation of the Service or its members; or
- we are required to do so by applicable law.
4. Your Right to Use the Service
Subject to these Terms and your continued compliance with them, SsshhhOut grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable licence to access and use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
This licence permits you to use the Service only as authorised by these Terms. No ownership or other rights in the Service or its content are transferred to you.
You must use the Service responsibly and in accordance with applicable law, these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and any other policies or instructions we make available through the Service.
You must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or unauthorised purpose;
- interfere with, disrupt, damage, or compromise the security, integrity, availability, or operation of the Service;
- access or attempt to access accounts, systems, or data that you are not authorised to use;
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except where expressly permitted by applicable law;
- use automated tools, bots, scripts, crawlers, scrapers, or similar technologies to access or interact with the Service without our prior written permission;
- attempt to bypass or interfere with any security, moderation, account, or device restrictions implemented by the Service;
- use the Service in a manner that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person or organisation;
- use the Service to collect, harvest, or otherwise obtain information about other members without their permission or as permitted by the Service;
- use the Service in any manner that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law;
- use the Service in any manner that could harm SsshhhOut, other members, or third parties.
You must not use the Service in any way that is inconsistent with the intended purpose of the Service or that could reasonably be expected to harm SsshhhOut, its members, or other persons.
We may update, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of material changes. However, we may act without prior notice where necessary for operational, security, legal, safety, or business reasons.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create and submit through the Service ("User Content"), including posts, replies, chat messages, polls, challenges, group information, reports, and other content you choose to share.
By submitting User Content through the Service, you grant SsshhhOut a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, publish, display, distribute, communicate, moderate, analyse, and otherwise use your User Content solely for the purposes of:
- providing and operating the Service;
- displaying your content to other members as intended by the Service;
- protecting the safety, security, and integrity of the Service;
- detecting, investigating, and preventing fraud, abuse, spam, and other violations of these Terms;
- improving, developing, testing, and maintaining the Service;
- complying with applicable law, lawful requests, legal proceedings, or regulatory obligations; and
- exercising or defending our legal rights.
This licence continues only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and fulfil the purposes described above, including the retention periods described in our Privacy.
You represent and warrant that:
- you own your User Content or have all necessary rights and permissions to submit it through the Service;
- your User Content does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person or organisation;
- your User Content complies with these Terms, including our Community Guidelines.
You are solely responsible for the User Content you create, submit, or share through the Service.
You acknowledge that other members may view, respond to, quote, or otherwise interact with User Content you make available through the Service. We cannot control how other members use information that you voluntarily choose to share.
We do not endorse, guarantee, or accept responsibility for User Content submitted by members.
We may review, label, restrict, remove, disable access to, or otherwise take action regarding User Content where we reasonably believe it is necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with applicable law, respond to reports, protect members, or maintain the safety and integrity of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms requires SsshhhOut to publish, maintain, or continue displaying any User Content.
Deleting your account or removing User Content does not necessarily result in the immediate or complete removal of that content from the Service. Certain content may continue to exist or remain visible as described in our Privacy and where necessary for community continuity, safety, legal compliance, or operational purposes.
6. Community Guidelines
SsshhhOut is built to encourage open conversations while maintaining a respectful, safe, and welcoming community. These Community Guidelines describe the standards of behaviour expected from everyone who uses the Service.
Content or behaviour that violates these Community Guidelines is prohibited. You are responsible for your conduct, your interactions with other members, and the User Content you create, submit, or otherwise make available through the Service.
Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in moderation or enforcement action, including warnings, educational notices, content labels, reduced visibility, content removal, feature restrictions, account or device restrictions, preservation of relevant information, or any other action permitted under these Terms or applicable law. Where we consider it appropriate or where required by applicable law, we may also cooperate with law enforcement, regulatory authorities, or other competent authorities.
Certain serious violations, particularly those involving child safety, non-consensual intimate content, terrorism, violent extremism, human exploitation, serious threats or violence, fraud, or attempts to evade safety or enforcement measures, may result in immediate enforcement action, including without prior notice where permitted under these Terms or applicable law.
The prohibited conduct described below is illustrative, not exhaustive. We may take appropriate action where we reasonably believe that conduct or User Content violates these Community Guidelines, these Terms, applicable law, or otherwise threatens the safety, security, integrity, or operation of the Service or its members.

Where the Service provides a Mature label or similar content classification, we apply it through automated moderation (including artificial intelligence) and human review. Members do not apply Mature labels themselves. We may apply, remove, modify, or override Mature labels, or remove content that is not appropriately classified or is otherwise unsuitable for the Service.

6.19 Moderation, Reporting, and Enforcement
You are responsible for ensuring that your conduct, interactions, and User Content comply with these Community Guidelines, these Terms, and applicable law.
If you encounter content or behaviour that you reasonably believe violates these Community Guidelines, please use the reporting tools available within the Service where supported. Reports should be submitted honestly and in good faith. Submitting false, malicious, abusive, or repetitive reports intended to harass another member or interfere with our moderation processes may itself violate these Terms.
Reports help us identify and investigate potential violations. We review reports carefully, but not every report will result in enforcement action. Our decisions are based on the information reasonably available to us and the nature, severity, context, and potential impact of the reported conduct.
We may consider the nature, severity, context, frequency, intent, and potential impact of the conduct, as well as any history of prior violations, when determining the appropriate enforcement action.
Depending on the nature, severity, context, frequency, and potential impact of a violation, we may:
- issue warnings or educational notices;
- apply, modify, or remove content labels (including Mature labels);
- reduce the visibility of content;
- remove, restrict, or disable access to content;
- restrict features or functionality;
- temporarily or permanently restrict accounts;
- temporarily or permanently restrict devices;
- preserve relevant information for investigations, legal proceedings, safety, or compliance purposes;
- refuse future access to the Service;
- cooperate with law enforcement, regulatory authorities, or other competent authorities where we consider it appropriate or where required by applicable law; or
- take any other action permitted under these Terms or applicable law.
Certain violations may result in immediate enforcement action without prior notice where permitted under these Terms or applicable law.
We are not required to provide advance notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect the Service, our members, or others.
Enforcement decisions may be based on automated systems, human review, reports from members, or other information reasonably available to us.
Compliance with these Community Guidelines does not guarantee that content will remain available or that enforcement action will not be taken where otherwise permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
Nothing in these Community Guidelines limits our ability to investigate, review, moderate, preserve information, or otherwise take any action permitted under these Terms or applicable law where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service, our members, or others.
7. Safety Tips
Your safety and privacy are important. While SsshhhOut uses moderation tools, reporting features, and other safety measures to help maintain a safe community, no online service can eliminate every risk. You are responsible for exercising good judgment, protecting your personal information, and deciding what you share and with whom.
The recommendations below are intended to help you use the Service safely and reduce the risk of fraud, abuse, or other harm.
7.1 Protect Your Personal Information
Do not share sensitive personal information with people you meet through the Service unless you fully understand the risks.
Examples include:
- your mobile phone number;
- home, work, or school address;
- email address;
- passwords or one-time passwords (OTPs);
- authentication codes;
- recovery codes;
- government-issued identification numbers;
- bank account, payment card, UPI, or other financial information;
- any other confidential or sensitive personal information.
Remember that information you voluntarily share with others may no longer remain private.
7.2 Be Careful When Interacting with Others
Not everyone online is who they claim to be.
Exercise caution when communicating with other members, especially if someone:
- asks for money or financial assistance;
- requests personal or confidential information;
- encourages you to move conversations to another platform;
- pressures you into making quick decisions;
- behaves suspiciously or inconsistently;
- asks you to keep conversations secret;
- asks you to disable safety features or ignore warnings.
Never assume another member's identity, intentions, or claims have been verified by SsshhhOut.
7.3 Never Send Money to Strangers
Do not send money, transfer funds, purchase goods or services, invest, lend money, provide financial assistance, or enter into financial arrangements with people you meet through the Service unless you have independently verified and trust them.
SsshhhOut does not verify financial transactions between members and is not responsible for losses resulting from scams, fraud, or private arrangements between users.
7.4 Report Suspicious or Harmful Behaviour
If you believe another member is:
- violating these Terms;
- attempting to scam or defraud others;
- impersonating another person;
- threatening or harassing someone;
- encouraging illegal or dangerous activity;
- requesting personal or financial information;
- appearing to be under the minimum age; or
- otherwise making the community unsafe,
please use the reporting tools available within the Service where supported (for example, to report posts or groups), or contact us using the details in Section 20 — Contact Us.
Reports help us identify and investigate potential violations. We review reports as promptly as reasonably practicable; however, review times may vary depending on the nature, severity, complexity, and volume of reports received. Following our review, we may determine that no action is required or take appropriate moderation or enforcement action under these Terms, including applying content labels, reducing content visibility, removing or restricting content, restricting features, or temporarily or permanently restricting an account or device.
If you believe there is an immediate risk of serious harm, criminal activity, or another emergency, you should promptly contact your local emergency services, law enforcement, or other appropriate competent authorities, as SsshhhOut is not an emergency response service.
7.5 Protect Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device.
You should:
- keep your device secure and protected with appropriate security measures;
- never share your verification codes, one-time passwords (OTPs), authentication credentials, or recovery codes with anyone;
- use only your own account and do not allow others to access or use it;
- avoid signing in on shared or untrusted devices or networks where possible;
- do not leave your account signed in on devices accessible to others;
- sign out of the Service if you lose access to your device or believe it has been compromised, where possible;
- promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation or otherwise compromised; and
- update your mobile number or authentication credentials as soon as reasonably practicable if you believe they have been compromised.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation or otherwise compromised, you should notify us as soon as reasonably practicable.
7.6 Meeting People Offline
SsshhhOut is not a dating, matchmaking, or offline meeting service and is not intended to facilitate in-person meetings between members. We encourage members to keep their interactions within the Service and to avoid sharing personal information or arranging to meet people they first encounter through the Service.
If you nevertheless choose to meet someone you first encountered through the Service, you do so entirely at your own risk. Helpful safety tips include:
- meet only in public places;
- meet during daylight where possible;
- tell a trusted person where you are going;
- arrange your own transportation;
- avoid consuming alcohol or drugs that may impair your judgment; and
- leave immediately if you feel unsafe.
SsshhhOut does not verify members' identities, conduct background checks, or guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of any member.
If you believe that you or another person is in immediate danger, is the victim of a crime, or requires urgent assistance, you should immediately contact your local emergency services, law enforcement, or another appropriate competent authority.
7.7 Think Before You Share
Once information is shared online, it may be copied, saved, forwarded, captured, or retained by others even if you later edit or delete it. Before sharing any information through the Service, carefully consider whether you are comfortable with the possibility that it could be seen, retained, or shared beyond your intended audience.
Avoid sharing personal information, confidential information, or anything that could put your privacy, safety, or security at risk.
7.8 Nature of These Safety Tips
These Safety Tips are provided for your guidance and are intended to help you use the Service more safely. They are recommendations rather than mandatory rules, and failure to follow them does not, by itself, constitute a violation of these Terms.
Following these recommendations may help reduce the risk of fraud, abuse, privacy violations, scams, identity theft, or other harm when using the Service.
8. Moderation and Enforcement
To help maintain a safe, respectful, and trustworthy community, SsshhhOut may use automated systems, human review, member reports, and other information reasonably available to us to identify, investigate, moderate, and respond to potential violations of these Terms, including our Community Guidelines.
Moderation and enforcement decisions are made at our reasonable discretion, taking into account the nature, severity, context, frequency, intent, prior history, and potential impact of the conduct involved.
Restrictions may be applied by our moderation team, through automated safety processes, or both. Automated systems help identify potential violations, but some enforcement decisions may also involve human review. We may take enforcement action with or without prior notice where we reasonably believe it is necessary.
Enforcement decisions are based on the information reasonably available to us at the time. If additional information becomes available, we may modify, reverse, or maintain an earlier decision.
We may refuse, defer, or limit enforcement-related requests where we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect the Service, comply with applicable law, enforce these Terms, investigate potential violations, prevent fraud or abuse, establish or defend legal claims, or protect the safety, security, or integrity of the Service or its members.
Nothing in these Terms requires us to monitor all content or activity on the Service. However, we reserve the right to investigate, review, moderate, restrict, or remove content or accounts where necessary to protect the Service, our members, or others.
8.1 Content Moderation
We may review, label, restrict, remove, disable access to, or otherwise moderate User Content where we reasonably believe it:
- may violate these Terms, including our Community Guidelines;
- may be unlawful or subject to legal restrictions;
- threatens the safety, privacy, rights, or security of any person;
- is misleading, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive;
- contains spam, malicious content, or platform manipulation;
- requires a Mature label or other content classification;
- may expose SsshhhOut or its members to legal, regulatory, operational, or security risks.
Content moderation may occur before or after content becomes visible within the Service. Depending on the circumstances, moderation decisions may be based on:
- automated analysis (including artificial intelligence);
- human review;
- member reports; or
- a combination of these methods.
8.1.1 Mature Labels and Content Classification
Where the Service provides a Mature label or similar content classification, it helps members identify content that may include strong language, adult themes, or other material that some members may find offensive or unsuitable.
Mature labels are applied by SsshhhOut through automated moderation (including artificial intelligence) and human review. We may apply, remove, modify, or override Mature labels where we reasonably believe content has been misclassified, should be restricted, or otherwise requires moderation.
8.1.2 Automated Moderation and Accuracy
Automated systems, including artificial intelligence, may assist in identifying content that may require moderation, a Mature label, or other action.
These systems are not always accurate and do not replace human judgment in all cases. Content may occasionally be incorrectly identified, labelled, restricted, removed, or left visible when it should have been moderated.
Where we identify or are notified of a possible error, we may review the content and take corrective action where appropriate.
8.1.3 Reporting Content
If you believe content requires moderation, you may report it through the Service where available:
- use Content Not Marked as Mature if the content includes abusive or strong language but is not marked as Mature;
- use the appropriate report reason if you believe the content violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines for any other reason.
Reports help us investigate and respond where necessary. See also Section 8.4 — Reports and Investigations and Section 8.5 — Reviews and Appeals.
8.2 Account Restrictions
SsshhhOut may restrict, suspend, or terminate your account when we reasonably believe it has violated these Terms, including our Community Guidelines, or applicable law. An account restriction is an enforcement measure and is different from logging out or deleting your account yourself.
Restrictions may be temporary or permanent depending on the nature, severity, frequency, intent, prior history, and impact of the conduct involved.
We may temporarily or permanently restrict, suspend, or terminate your account where we reasonably believe it is necessary to:
- enforce these Terms;
- investigate suspected violations;
- protect members or the Service;
- prevent fraud, abuse, spam, or other harmful activity;
- respond to legal obligations or lawful requests from competent authorities, regulators, courts, or other legal bodies;
- prevent repeated or serious violations;
- protect the integrity, availability, or security of the Service;
- address conduct that may harm other members or the integrity of the Service, including attempts to evade prior enforcement actions;
- address activity we reasonably believe is illegal or unauthorised; or
- address situations where an ongoing review or enforcement decision is pending, including while we assess reports, appeals, or legal obligations.
8.2.1 What a Restriction Means
While your account is restricted, you generally cannot sign in to or use your account. If you were already signed in when the restriction was applied, you will not be able to continue using signed-in features.
On a device that is not restricted, you may still be able to browse the Service using Guest Mode, where available.
We may hide or limit your profile and activity where required for safety, enforcement, or legal reasons. Until we take further action, existing public content may remain visible to others even though you cannot use your account.
In some cases, the device may also be restricted at the same time — for example, where we find serious or repeated violations linked to that account or device, including attempts to bypass account restrictions. See Section 8.3 — Device Restrictions.
8.2.2 What You Cannot Do While Restricted
While your account is restricted, you generally cannot:
- sign in to or access your account;
- create posts or replies;
- create, join, or manage groups;
- send or receive chat messages;
- update your profile or account settings;
- delete your account using the in-app self-service option; or
- use any features that require an active registered account.
8.2.3 What You Can Do While Restricted
While your account is restricted, you may:
- contact us if you believe a restriction was applied in error or to request a review (see Section 8.5 — Reviews and Appeals and Section 20 — Contact Us);
- wait until a restriction is lifted, then use the Service or delete your account through Manage Account if you still wish to leave; or
- cooperate with any review we conduct in connection with reports or enforcement.
8.2.4 Enforcement Outcomes
Depending on the circumstances, we may, at our reasonable discretion:
- lift the restriction after review, allowing you to access your account again;
- maintain the restriction for as long as we consider necessary for safety and compliance; or
- permanently remove or terminate your account and associated data without further notice, where we reasonably believe that these Terms or applicable law have been seriously or repeatedly violated — this may occur through admin enforcement and may not follow the ordinary self-service deletion process described in Section 9.3 — Delete Your Account.
While an enforcement review is pending, we are not obliged to reinstate a restricted account or delete it on demand. You generally cannot delete your account yourself using Manage Account during that time. If you contact us while restricted, we may defer, deny, or complete deletion only after our review has finished. Permanent enforcement deletion may occur without separate notice and may not follow the ordinary self-service deletion timeline described in Section 9.3 — Delete Your Account. If you wish to leave the Service but cannot access your account, you may contact us as described in Section 20 — Contact Us.
We may refuse or defer reinstatement, deletion, or related requests as described in the introduction to this Section 8.
We may choose not to disclose the specific detection methods, evidence, or internal enforcement criteria used to identify violations where doing so could undermine the safety, security, or integrity of the Service or facilitate abuse.
8.2.5 Data Retention and Access
If your account is restricted or permanently removed for enforcement reasons, we may retain certain information for longer than after an ordinary self-initiated deletion, where we have a legitimate interest in doing so — for example, to investigate conduct, prevent recurrence, comply with legal obligations, establish or defend legal claims, or protect the safety of members. Retention is governed by our Privacy.
When contacting us about a restriction, explain that you cannot sign in to your account or that you are requesting a review of an enforcement action. You may request access to personal data subject to verification and legal limits. See Section 9.5 — Request Account Information and Section 20 — Contact Us.
8.3 Device Restrictions
SsshhhOut may restrict a device when we reasonably believe it has been used for serious or repeated violations of these Terms, including our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, including attempts to bypass account restrictions. A device restriction applies to the device rather than only a particular account.
Restrictions may be temporary or permanent depending on the nature, severity, frequency, intent, prior history, and impact of the conduct involved.
We may temporarily or permanently restrict access from a particular device where we reasonably believe the device has been used to:
- repeatedly violate these Terms, including after account restrictions;
- evade account restrictions, device restrictions, or other enforcement actions;
- create new accounts to bypass rules;
- facilitate fraud, abuse, spam, automation, coordinated abuse, or other prohibited activity;
- address conduct that may harm other members or the integrity of the Service;
- address activity we reasonably believe is illegal or unauthorised;
- respond to legal obligations or lawful requests from competent authorities, regulators, courts, or other legal bodies; or
- address situations where an ongoing review or enforcement decision is pending, including while we assess reports, appeals, or legal obligations.
8.3.1 What a Restriction Means
A device restriction prevents use of the Service from that device until the restriction is removed. You will not be able to use SsshhhOut on the restricted device — including sign-in, Guest Mode, account registration, posting, chatting, device deregistration, and other features.
In some cases, the account you were signed in with may also be restricted at the same time — for example, where we find serious or repeated violations linked to that device or account. See Section 8.2 — Account Restrictions.
A device restriction affects the physical device. An account restriction affects your mobile-number account. Either type of restriction may require support review before it is lifted. See Section 8.2 — Account Restrictions.
After a device restriction is lifted, you may need to sign in again. Previous sessions are not automatically restored.
8.3.2 What You Cannot Do on a Restricted Device
While a device is restricted, you generally cannot on that device:
- sign in with any mobile number;
- use Guest Mode or otherwise access the Service;
- post, chat, or use any other app feature;
- delete an account; or
- remove device-linked data using in-app self-service (including Deregister Device — see Section 9.4 — Deregister Device).
8.3.3 What You Can Do While Restricted
While a device is restricted, you may:
- contact us from the Access Restricted screen in the Service, or by email, if you believe a restriction was applied in error or to request a review (see Section 8.5 — Reviews and Appeals and Section 20 — Contact Us);
- use another device that is not restricted to access the Service or manage your account, unless your account is also restricted; or
- cooperate with any review we conduct in connection with reports or enforcement.
8.3.4 Enforcement Outcomes
Depending on the circumstances, we may, at our reasonable discretion:
- lift the restriction after review, allowing you to use the Service on that device again;
- maintain the restriction for as long as we consider necessary for safety and compliance; or
- permanently restrict the device without further notice, where we reasonably believe that these Terms or applicable law have been seriously or repeatedly violated.
While an enforcement review is pending, we are not obliged to lift a device restriction or complete a Delete Device Data Request on demand. We may refuse or defer such requests as described in the introduction to this Section 8.
8.3.5 Delete Device Data Request
While a device restriction is in place, you generally cannot use in-app self-service on that device to remove device-linked data or delete an account, including Deregister Device and Delete account.
You may submit a Delete Device Data Request by contacting us as described in Section 20 — Contact Us. We may defer, deny, or complete such a request only after any pending enforcement review has finished. If we process a request while a restriction remains in place, we may retain certain enforcement-related information as described in Section 8.3.6 and our Privacy. See also Section 9.4 — Deregister Device and Section 9.3 — Delete Your Account.
8.3.6 Data Retention and Access
If a device is restricted or permanently restricted for enforcement reasons, we may retain certain information for longer than after an ordinary self-initiated device data removal or deletion, where we have a legitimate interest in doing so — for example, to investigate conduct, prevent recurrence, comply with legal obligations, establish or defend legal claims, or protect the safety of members. Retention is governed by our Privacy.
When contacting us about a device restriction, explain that you cannot use SsshhhOut on the device, the approximate date the restriction started, and your mobile number if you had an account. We may ask you to verify device ownership or identity, or provide other information we reasonably require, before we respond to certain requests.
8.4 Reports and Investigations
Members may report posts, groups, members, or other behaviour that they believe violates these Terms, including our Community Guidelines. Reporting of content and individual members may be available in the Service, including in chat and elsewhere, but may not be offered in all parts of the Service.
If you believe a user or content appears to violate these Terms, involves a serious violation, or requires immediate action, you should report it through the Service where available. SsshhhOut is not an emergency response service. If you or another person is in immediate danger, is the victim of a crime, or requires urgent assistance, you should immediately contact your local emergency services, law enforcement, or another appropriate competent authority.
We may investigate reports using information reasonably available to us, including User Content, account information, device information, moderation history, and other relevant information.
We may decide not to act on every report where we determine that no violation has occurred, there is insufficient information, or the reported conduct does not breach these Terms.
Submitting false, malicious, abusive, or repetitive reports intended to harass or interfere with another member or our moderation processes may itself constitute a violation of these Terms.
8.5 Reviews and Appeals
If you believe that content has been incorrectly labelled, restricted, removed, or that an enforcement action has been applied in error, you may request a review by contacting us through Profile → About & Support → Contact Us or Support, or by email using the details in Section 20 — Contact Us.
Submitting a review request does not guarantee that an enforcement decision will be reversed, suspended, or delayed, or that an account or device restriction will be lifted.
Following a review, we may:
- uphold the original decision;
- modify the enforcement action;
- restore content or access;
- request additional information; or
- take any other action we consider appropriate.
Following a review, our decision will generally be final, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
8.6 Emergency Action
Nothing in these Terms limits our ability to take immediate action where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect:
- the safety of members or other persons;
- the security, integrity, or availability of the Service;
- compliance with applicable law or lawful requests from competent authorities;
- our legal rights or the rights of others.
Where appropriate, we may act without prior notice.
9. Account Management
SsshhhOut provides features that allow you to manage your account, privacy, security, preferences, and certain information associated with your use of the Service. The availability of particular features may vary depending on whether you use Guest Mode or a registered account, your device, your platform, your location, applicable law, or the version of the Service.
Nothing in this section limits our rights under these Terms to investigate, review, moderate, restrict, suspend, terminate, or otherwise take enforcement action against accounts, devices, or User Content where reasonably necessary under these Terms or applicable law.
9.1 Guest Mode
Guest Mode lets you explore certain parts of the Service without signing in with a mobile phone number. Guest Mode is device-based and is not a registered account linked to a mobile number.
In Guest Mode, you may be able to browse public content, search and explore the Service, view posts and groups, adjust limited preferences, and sign in at any time to create or access a registered account.
Guest Mode does not generally provide access to signed-in features, including posting, replying, reacting, participating in polls or challenges, chatting, creating or managing groups, reporting content or members, blocking members, or managing a registered account or display profile.
Although Guest Mode does not require a mobile number, we may still collect and use certain device and usage information as described in our Privacy.
We may restrict, limit, suspend, or discontinue Guest Mode at any time where reasonably necessary for operational, security, legal, safety, or business reasons. Guest Mode is not available on restricted devices.
9.2 Registered Accounts
Certain features of the Service require a registered account verified using a valid mobile phone number and one-time password (OTP), as described in Section 3 — Eligibility and Accounts.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date account information, keeping your account secure, and ensuring that only you use your registered account.
You must not create, access, or use an account on behalf of another person without their permission, or otherwise use a registered account in violation of these Terms.
9.3 Delete Your Account
You may permanently delete your registered account using the self-service tools provided within the Service. Deleting your account permanently removes your registered mobile-number account from the Service. This is different from Deregister Device, which removes Guest Mode or device-related data when you are not signed in. See Section 9.4 — Deregister Device.
9.3.1 How to Delete Your Account
To delete your account, sign in with your mobile phone number, open Profile, go to Manage Account, tap Delete account, and confirm when prompted.
9.3.2 When You Can Delete
You may delete your account when you are signed in and neither your account nor the device you are using is subject to a restriction or enforcement review.
If your account or device is restricted, self-service deletion may not be available. See Sections 8.2 and 8.3.
We may also remove or terminate an account as an enforcement measure in accordance with Section 8.
9.3.3 What Happens When You Delete
When you successfully delete your account:
- you are signed out on all devices;
- you cannot sign in again to the same deleted account — it is permanently removed; and
- your public profile is removed and your community content is attributed to a Deleted User or Deleted Account where applicable.
There is no undo. The same account cannot be restored. Deletion either completes fully or does not happen — you will not be left with a half-deleted account.
9.3.4 What It Does Not Remove
Deleting your account does not necessarily remove:
- community posts or replies;
- chat messages visible to other participants;
Guest Mode or device-related data; or
information retained under these Terms or our Privacy.
9.3.5 Data Retention
Certain information may continue to be retained after deletion for the periods described in our Privacy, including where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, enforcement, legal compliance, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
9.3.6 Signing Up Again
You may register again with the same mobile number as a new account unless:
- that number is blocked due to multiple prior account deletions or other abuse-prevention limits;
- your device is still restricted;
- your account or number is restricted or blocked for another policy reason; or
- other eligibility or abuse-prevention limits apply under these Terms.
9.3.7 Need Help
If you cannot delete your account or deletion does not complete, contact us as described in Section 20 — Contact Us. We may ask you to verify your identity, ownership of the account, or provide other information that we reasonably require before responding to certain requests. Your statutory privacy rights are described in our Privacy.
9.4 Deregister Device
Deregister Device is a self-service feature that removes Guest Mode or device-related data from the current device when you are not signed in. It does not delete a registered mobile-number account. To delete a registered account, see Section 9.3 — Delete Your Account.
9.4.1 How to Deregister Device
When you are not signed in, open Profile, go to Manage Account, choose Deregister Device, and confirm when prompted.
9.4.2 When You Can Deregister
You may deregister when you are not signed in and this device is not subject to a restriction or enforcement review.
If your device is subject to a restriction or enforcement review, self-service deregistration may not be available. See Section 8.3 — Device Restrictions. Where available, you may submit a Delete Device Data Request in accordance with that section.
9.4.3 What Happens When You Deregister
When you successfully deregister:
- the Guest Mode or device-only profile associated with this device is removed, where applicable;
- related local app data on this device is cleared; and
- certain server activity logs tied to that guest profile are scheduled for removal in accordance with our Privacy.
9.4.4 What It Does Not Remove
Deregister Device does not necessarily remove:
- a registered account linked to a mobile number, even if that account previously used this device;
- posts, replies, groups, chat messages, or other content created under a signed-in account; or
- information retained under these Terms or our Privacy.
If you are signed in, Deregister Device is not available. To remove your registered account, use Delete Account instead.
9.4.5 Data Retention
Certain information may continue to be retained after deregistration for the periods described in our Privacy, including where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, enforcement, legal compliance, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
9.4.6 Need Help
If you cannot deregister your device or deregistration does not complete, contact us as described in Section 20 — Contact Us. We may ask you to verify your identity, ownership of the device, or provide other information that we reasonably require before responding to certain requests.
9.5 Request Account Information
Signed-in members may request a copy or summary of certain account information by emailing support@ssshhhout.com.
The information provided may include selected account, profile, and activity information. It is not intended to be a complete copy of all information associated with your use of the Service and may exclude User Content, chat message content, moderation history, security records, internal enforcement information, or other information that we are not required or permitted to disclose.
For security purposes, we may require you to verify your identity or account ownership before processing your request.
We may limit, delay, or refuse a request where permitted or required by applicable law, where necessary to protect the rights, privacy, safety, or security of any person or the Service, where your account or device is subject to a restriction or enforcement review, or as otherwise described in these Terms or our Privacy.
This request process is available for registered accounts. Guest Mode does not provide the same account information or request process. Information relating to Guest Mode or device-only data is addressed through Section 9.4 — Deregister Device and our Privacy.
9.6 Device Permissions
Certain features of the Service require access to permissions provided by your device or operating system, such as location services, notifications, and, on iOS, App Tracking Transparency (ATT).
On iPhone and iPad, Apple may show an App Tracking prompt during first-time setup. If you allow tracking, we may use this permission to measure app performance, downloads, launches, and related analytics (including through providers such as AppsFlyer), and to help connect you to the right content, invites, and referral links. You can decline this permission. The Service still works if you decline, though some measurement or personalisation features may be limited. You can change this later in your device settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking) or through Device Permissions in Manage Account.
SsshhhOut does not request access to your camera, photo library, contacts, or microphone for the normal use of the Service.
You may grant, deny, or withdraw device permissions at any time through your device settings or through Device Permissions in Manage Account, which opens your device's app settings.
Disabling certain permissions may prevent some features from functioning correctly. For example, without location permission, nearby content and certain location-based features may be unavailable. Declining App Tracking on iOS does not prevent you from using the Service.
9.7 Preferences and Settings
The Service may allow you to customise certain preferences and settings, including language, notifications, Mature content visibility, sound, haptic feedback, and other available options.
These settings are intended to improve your experience but do not guarantee that all content, notifications, or communications will be filtered, displayed, or delivered according to your preferences in every circumstance.
Preferences relating to Mature content are supported by our moderation systems but are not guaranteed to identify or filter all content that may be considered mature or sensitive. For more information about Mature content classification and moderation, see Sections 8.1.1, 8.1.2, and 8.1.3.
Sound and haptic feedback behaviour may vary depending on your device, operating system, platform, or system settings. In some cases, device settings, operating system behaviour, or technical limitations may override your selected preferences, and certain functionality may not operate as expected.
Language preferences affect the language of the Service interface where supported. User Content, including posts, replies, chat messages, group names, and other member-generated content, is generally displayed in the original language and script in which it was created and is not automatically translated. Certain communications from SsshhhOut, including system messages, notifications, support communications, legal notices, these Terms, the Privacy, and other legal or compliance-related documents, may be provided only in English regardless of your selected language preference.
If you believe a preference or setting is not functioning correctly, you may report the issue through Support or Contact Us as described in Section 20 — Contact Us.
9.8 Screenshot Protection
To help protect the privacy of members, SsshhhOut may restrict or prevent screenshots and screen recordings within chat conversations where supported by your device, operating system, or platform.
Screenshot protection is provided on a best-effort basis and is subject to the capabilities and limitations of your device, operating system, platform, and system settings. The availability and effectiveness of screenshot protection may therefore vary.
Screenshot protection does not guarantee that content cannot be copied, recorded, or captured. For example:
- another person may photograph or record the screen using a different device;
- third-party applications, accessibility services, operating system features, or screen recording tools may still be able to capture or record content in certain circumstances; and
- technical limitations or platform behaviour may affect how screenshot protection operates.
Members should not assume that content displayed within the Service cannot be copied, recorded, or shared by others. Please consider this before sharing sensitive, confidential, or personal information through the Service.
9.9 Availability of Account Features
We may add, modify, suspend, replace, restrict, or discontinue any account management feature, setting, or functionality at any time where reasonably necessary for operational, security, safety, legal, technical, or business reasons.
The availability, behaviour, and functionality of particular account management features or settings may vary depending on your device, operating system, platform, region, Service version, account status, applicable law, or other operational requirements.
Some features may be introduced gradually, made available only to selected members, or withdrawn without prior notice where reasonably necessary under these Terms or applicable law.
9.10 Restrictions on Account Requests
We may delay, limit, refuse, or impose reasonable conditions on requests relating to your account, device, or account management features where we reasonably believe it is necessary to:
- comply with applicable law, court orders, or lawful requests from competent authorities;
- investigate suspected fraud, abuse, security incidents, or other violations of these Terms;
- preserve information for investigations, legal proceedings, regulatory matters, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims;
- enforce account or device restrictions or other enforcement measures;
- protect the safety, security, privacy, integrity, availability, or operation of the Service or any person; or
- prevent the circumvention of moderation, security, or enforcement measures.
This may affect requests relating to your account or device, including requests to access, correct, export, or delete account information, change your mobile phone number, deregister a device, lift an account or device restriction, or use other account management features.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Service and all associated software, technology, functionality, user interfaces, designs, layouts, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, service marks, icons, illustrations, databases, system-generated content, and other materials made available by SsshhhOut (excluding User Content) are owned by or licensed to SsshhhOut and are protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws.
Your use of the Service does not transfer to you any ownership rights in the Service or any of its intellectual property.
You must not, except as expressly permitted by applicable law or with our prior written permission:
- copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publish, sell, license, lease, or commercially exploit any part of the Service;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying technology of the Service;
- remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, proprietary notice, or other legal notice;
- use our trademarks, branding, logos, or other intellectual property in a manner that suggests endorsement, affiliation, partnership, sponsorship, or approval without our prior written permission.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
10.1 Feedback
We welcome suggestions, ideas, feature requests, bug reports, and other feedback about the Service ("Feedback").
If you provide Feedback, you grant SsshhhOut a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and otherwise use that Feedback for any lawful purpose without compensation, attribution, acknowledgement, or further permission from you.
You represent that you have the right to provide such Feedback.
10.2 Copyright Complaints
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our members to do the same.
If you believe that content available through the Service infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, please contact us using the details provided in Section 20 — Contact Us and provide sufficient information reasonably necessary to enable us to investigate your request.
We may remove, disable access to, or otherwise restrict allegedly infringing content while we review the matter, where appropriate.
We may also terminate or restrict the accounts of repeat or serious intellectual property infringers where necessary.
Nothing in this section requires SsshhhOut to determine the validity of competing ownership claims or to resolve private intellectual property disputes between members.
11. Third-Party Services
SsshhhOut may use third-party platforms, infrastructure, technologies, software, products, or services to provide, operate, maintain, secure, improve, analyse, or support the Service.
This includes, for example, cloud hosting, SMS verification, chat and notifications, analytics and crash reporting, AI-assisted moderation, app performance and attribution measurement, and GIFs and stickers in chat. The providers we currently use, and the personal data they process, are described in our Privacy. They include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Firebase / Google (including Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics), AppsFlyer, MSG91, OpenAI, Klipy, and the Apple App Store and Google Play.
These third-party providers perform services on our behalf or support the operation of the Service. Unless we expressly state otherwise, your use of SsshhhOut does not create a separate contractual relationship between you and those third-party providers.
We may add, replace, remove, or change third-party service providers from time to time where reasonably necessary for operational, technical, security, legal, safety, or business reasons.
Our use of third-party service providers does not transfer ownership of the Service or responsibility for the Service to those providers. Information about our use of third-party providers is described in our Privacy where applicable.
11.1 Application Stores
If you download or access the Service through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another application marketplace, your use of that marketplace is governed by the applicable terms, conditions, and policies of the relevant provider.
SsshhhOut is solely responsible for the Service itself. Apple, Google, and other application marketplace providers are not responsible for the Service or its content, maintenance, support, operation, or any claims relating to the Service, except where required by their applicable terms or by law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you may have under the terms of the applicable application marketplace provider.
11.2 Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services for convenience or informational purposes.
We do not endorse or control those third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content, products, services, security, or privacy practices.
Your access to and use of third-party websites, applications, or services is at your own risk and subject to the applicable third party's terms and policies.
11.3 GIFs and Stickers (Klipy)
The Service may allow you to browse, search for, and send GIFs and stickers in chat. These GIFs and stickers are provided by Klipy (klipy.com).

12. Refer a Friend
The Refer a Friend Program ("Program") allows eligible SsshhhOut users to invite friends or other individuals to join SsshhhOut using their unique referral link or referral code.
By participating in the Program, you agree to the following terms.
12.1 How the Program Works
You may invite friends or other eligible individuals to join SsshhhOut through your unique referral link or referral code. Where applicable, you may receive additional benefits when a referred person successfully joins SsshhhOut and meets the applicable referral criteria.
12.2 Referral Tracking
SsshhhOut may use referral links, codes, attribution mechanisms, and other technical methods to identify and validate successful referrals. Our systems and internal criteria will determine whether a referral qualifies for a benefit.
12.3 Eligibility and Referral Criteria
Referral benefits are subject to the eligibility requirements and qualifying criteria applicable to the Program at the time of the referral. A referral may not qualify if the required conditions are not met, including where a referral is invalid, duplicated, fraudulent, self-referred, or otherwise does not satisfy the applicable criteria.
12.4 Referral Benefits
Any benefit offered under the Program, including subscription extensions, credits, features, or other rewards, will be subject to the terms applicable at the time. Benefits are limited and subject to availability and may be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, where applicable.
12.5 Changes to the Program
SsshhhOut reserves the right to modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue the Program, or change its eligibility criteria, referral requirements, benefits, limits, or other terms, with or without prior notice, subject to applicable law.
12.6 No Guarantee of Benefits
Participation in the Program does not guarantee that you will receive a benefit. Benefits are only granted when the applicable referral and eligibility criteria are successfully satisfied.
12.7 Prohibited or Abusive Referrals
You must not misuse the Program, including by creating multiple accounts, referring yourself, using fraudulent or misleading methods, manipulating referrals, or attempting to obtain benefits through unauthorised means. SsshhhOut may disqualify referrals and/or withhold or revoke benefits where it reasonably believes the Program has been misused.
12.8 Opting Out
Participation in the Program is voluntary. You may opt out of the Program at any time. Opting out may affect your eligibility to receive future referral benefits.
12.9 Final Determination
SsshhhOut's determination regarding the validity of a referral, eligibility for a benefit, and fulfillment of the applicable Program criteria will be final, subject to applicable law.
12.10 General Terms
The Program is also subject to these Terms and our Privacy. Official referral links or codes shared through the Program are permitted. This does not allow you to post unauthorised advertising or commercial solicitations in community content, as described in the Community Guidelines. In the event of any conflict, the applicable terms governing the Program will prevail to the extent permitted by law.
For questions regarding the Refer a Friend Program, please contact us at support@ssshhhout.com or as described in Section 20 — Contact Us.
13. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Registered members may also delete their account in accordance with Section 9.3 — Delete Your Account.
We may suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate your account, your device, specific features of the Service, or your access to the Service in accordance with these Terms, including Section 8 — Moderation and Enforcement, where we reasonably believe such action is necessary.
Suspension, restriction, or termination of your account does not automatically remove User Content, reports, moderation history, or other information that we are entitled or required to retain under these Terms, our Privacy, or applicable law.
Termination of your account or your use of the Service does not affect any rights, obligations, liabilities, or remedies that arose before termination.
The provisions of these Terms that by their nature are intended to survive termination, including those relating to ownership, licences, intellectual property, moderation and enforcement, information retention, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, dispute resolution, and any other provisions intended to survive termination, will continue to apply after termination.

- that any feature or functionality will continue to be available; or
- that the Service will meet your requirements or expectations.
SsshhhOut does not verify the identity, background, intentions, qualifications, or conduct of members and does not perform background checks unless expressly stated otherwise.
You are solely responsible for your decisions, interactions, communications, relationships, transactions, and any arrangements you make with other members, whether online or offline.

15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SsshhhOut, its owners, operators, affiliates, licensors, service providers, employees, contractors, officers, directors, and representatives will not be liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, strict liability, or otherwise, for any indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, special, punitive, or similar damages arising out of or relating to your access to or use of the Service or these Terms.
This includes, without limitation, damages relating to:
- loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, reputation, or anticipated savings;
- loss, corruption, destruction, or unavailability of data or User Content;
- interruptions, delays, errors, bugs, or unavailability of the Service;
- unauthorised access to or use of your account or information;
- unauthorised access, hacking, cyber-attacks, data breaches, malware, or other security incidents resulting from factors beyond our reasonable control, including the compromise of your device or account, internet or mobile network failures, or failures of third-party infrastructure or service providers, despite our implementation of reasonable security measures;
- interactions, communications, relationships, disputes, or transactions between members;
- fraud, scams, impersonation, harassment, abuse, or other conduct by members or third parties;
- your reliance on User Content or other information made available through the Service; or
- any other loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, regardless of the number of claims or causes of action, will not exceed the greater of:
- the total amount you paid to SsshhhOut for the Service during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
- ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand), if you have not made any payment to SsshhhOut.
The limitations and exclusions of liability in this section apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose and even if SsshhhOut has been advised of the possibility of such damages, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend (where requested by us), indemnify, and hold harmless SsshhhOut, its owners, operators, affiliates, licensors, service providers, employees, contractors, officers, directors, and representatives from and against any claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and expenses) arising out of or relating to:

- your fraud, negligence, misconduct, or misuse of the Service.
This indemnity applies only to the extent that the relevant claim, loss, damage, or expense results from your acts or omissions and does not apply to the extent caused by SsshhhOut's own negligence, wilful misconduct, or violation of applicable law.
We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defence, settlement, and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. In such circumstances, you agree to cooperate reasonably with our defence of the claim.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our business, technology, security practices, applicable law, regulatory requirements, or other operational, legal, or business needs.
If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you where appropriate or required by applicable law. Such notice may be provided by displaying a notice within the Service, sending an email (where we have your contact details), or requiring you to review and accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the updated Terms become effective on the Effective Date specified in the revised version.
By continuing to access or use the Service after the updated Terms become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and, where applicable, delete your account.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through informal discussions within a reasonable period, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or waived under applicable law.

We may assign, transfer, or delegate our rights or obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganisation, sale of assets, financing, or the operation of the Service, subject to applicable law.
